This immersive 1-day workshop equips participants to generate and refine AI-driven media using Canva’s intelligent tools. Through guided activities, learners will craft visuals that balance creativity with credibility, mastering prompt techniques, ethical AI use, and brand consistency.
By the end of the session, participants will gain the confidence to turn automation into artistry — creating professional, responsible, and visually compelling content for any platform.

Pre-requisites
- Participants should bring a laptop with internet access, a mouse and a charger. Participants are also recommended to create a free Canva account prior to the workshop. No prior design experience is necessary, but basic computer literacy is required.
Objective
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Leverage Canva’s AI tools (Magic Media, DreamLab, Magic Write) to create visuals and videos aligned with brand and ethical standards.
- Evaluate AI-generated content for appropriateness, originality, and safety compliance, identifying biases and data-use considerations.
- Refine AI-produced images using filters, effects, and background adjustments to enhance visual quality.
- Apply text and layout automation tools to streamline workflow and improve output efficiency.
- Customize and export media for multiple platforms (social media, reports, presentations), optimizing for engagement and accessibility.
