In today’s fast-moving workplace, information is abundant—but wisdom is rare. We’re expected to decide quickly and still get it right. That’s where critical thinking becomes a strategic asset.

This fun, impactful and experiential driven one-day workshop is designed to empower professionals to use the “RED Critical Thinking” framework to pause, probe, and perceive beyond the obvious. By sharpening analytical thinking, challenging assumptions, and navigating complexity and change with clarity, participants will act more responsibly and to speak up, ask smarter questions, make better decisions and become trusted problem-solvers.

Teams leave with mental agility to think independently and act collaboratively, so they can succeed together. Elevate your thinking, elevate your impact.
    Objective
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
    • Appreciate the benefits of a critical thinking mindset for solving problems and making constructive decisions
    • Understand psychological, perceptual barriers and cognitive traps to critical thinking and adopt strategies to avoid them.
    • Ask sharper, more purposeful questions that spark insight and deeper understanding.
    • Identify critical thinking mindset and practices in practice.
    • Apply a critical thinking framework to break down complex problems and arrive at well-reasoned conclusions.
    Outline
Kick-off — Why Think Now? (Context & Definitions)
    • From info to insight: Critical vs. creative thinking—what, when, and how they work together.
    • Outcomes that matter: Faster clarity, better options, lower risk.

See Clearly — Barriers & Blind Spots
    • Assumption audit: Spotting and testing hidden assumptions
    • Perceptual filters: How past wins/fails and roles shape what we “see.”
    • Cognitive traps: The workplace biases that derail choices
    • Listening check-up: Are you hearing data, stories, or noise?

Tools for Thinking — The RED Framework Lab
    • Identifying Critical vs. Non-Critical Mindset
    • Apply the “RED” Critical Thinking Framework when faced with decisions, problems, or new information.
    • Challenging assumptions
    • Asking effective questions
    • Applying logical and sequential thinking

Team Labs — Solve Together (hands-on)
    • “Kettle Balancing Tower” (lateral thinking)
    • “From Silo to Hello” (cross-functional problem): align goals, share constraints, co-design a fix.
    • Debrief: What changed our minds? What evidence mattered?
    Who should attend
    • Working professionals who make everyday decisions and want clearer, faster thinking
    • Team leads / project managers who run meetings and need buy-in
    • Customer-facing roles (sales, service, ops) who solve problems under pressure
    Methodology
The session will be interactive, reflective, and energising. We use practical tools, real scenarios, and engaging activities to create a safe space where participants can explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and stretch their thinking, out of their comfort zone and in ways that stick.
