    Today’s workplace brings together Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z: each shaped by different experiences, expectations, and work styles. Left unmanaged, these differences can create friction, misunderstandings, and misalignment. But when harnessed well, multigenerational diversity becomes a powerful source of creativity, collaboration, and organisational strength.

    In this highly practical and interactive one day workshop, participants will discover the unique mindsets of each generation, uncover common triggers and motivators, and learn communication and collaboration strategies that increase harmony and productivity. Using the DIVERSE© framework, learners will walk away with actionable tools to build trust, influence effectively, and thrive in any multigenerational team.
    Objective
    By the end of this workshop, Learners will be able to:
    1. Identify the core characteristics and motivations of the four main generations at work.
    2. Recognise common friction points and communication breakdowns across generations.
    3. Apply the DIVERSE© toolkit to enhance collaboration and build stronger relationships.
    4. Adapt their communication, behaviour, and expectations to work effectively with any generation.
    5. Contribute proactively to a respectful, inclusive, and productive multigenerational culture.

    MODULE 1 : Decode Generational Mindsets
    • Tool Focus: Generational Lenses
    • Overview of Boomers, Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z
    • Key influences shaping each generation’s work values
    • Motivation triggers: purpose, progress, recognition, autonomy
    • Activity: “Walk in My Shoes” persona rotations to understand real world perspectives
    • Video learning: Interviews of Working Professionals from the four generations

    MODULE 2 : Integrate Differences and Value Strengths
    • Tool Focus: Strength Exchange Grid
    • Common workplace tensions: speed vs process, loyalty vs mobility, digital vs traditional thinking
    • Identifying strengths of each generation
    • Turning irritations into insights: seeing behaviour through intention
    • Activity: Cross gen Strength Swap conversations to highlight complementary abilities

    MODULE 3 : Engage with Empathy and Relate with Respect
    • Tool Focus: HEAR for Multigenerational Conversations
    • How cognitive biases influence how we see other generations
    • Empathy triggers and respect signals for each generation
    • Communicating up, across, and down
    • Activity: HEAR based scenario practice: Harmonise, Empathise, Acknowledge, Respond

    MODULE 4 : Shift Behaviours and Elevate Collaboration
    • Tool Focus: DIVERSE© Collaboration Playbook
    • Behavioural flexibility: adapting approach without losing authenticity
    • Managing expectations and resolving misalignment
    • Building a psychologically safe multigenerational environment
    • Activity: Team simulation: participants apply the DIVERSE© tools to solve a workplace challenge
    • Personal Action Plan: three behavioural commitments for immediate workplace application
